Community Servings
The mission of Community Servings in Jamaica Plain is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. Community Servings also operates the Teaching Kitchen, a 12-week job-training program in the food service industry for those who face barriers to full-time employment. Trainees work alongside the staff culinary team to help prepare the meals delivered to clients each day. The Ansaras made a grant for Community Servings new facility.
