Haiti Medical Mission of Wisconsin
Haiti Medical Mission of Wisconsin (HMMW) serves the people of rural and remote southeast Haiti by improving access to sustainable, largely Haitian-based health care through a partnership with Centre de Santé Sacré-Coeur de Thiotte (CSST). CSST employs doctors, nurses, lab and pharmacy techs, and community health workers. It also supervises doctors and nurses who are placed by the Ministry of Health for social service rotation. About 60% of patients seen at the health care center are children and pregnant women.
